Having spent 9 days sitting and meditating
in Taizé, I felt a strong urge to move again. So I took the night train to Figeac
, a little town in the south full of beautiful memories, since my pilgrimage ended there last summer.
In the following week, I walked direction southwest towards Moissac, being in excellent company! Here are some impressions: ![]()

And here the continuation of the journey/life changing experience
: After enjoying the intense light and the fantastic city life of the chti people in the french north
and dancing bal folk in Belgium
with my cousin
, I took a lift to Taizé, a christian monastery in Bourgogne. The car of the guys who gave me a ride decided not to join us until the end
, but thanks to Mr Bauer, a lovely and diplomatic account executive, we continued our journey by train/hotel/bus, arrived safely in Taizé
in order to spent an intense/contemplative/communicative/mind-broadening week there together ![]()

Part 3 follows.
Ultreia y sus eia!
I am writing from Lille, north of France, where I am taking a little break from a long walk. My plan is to walk from my place of birth (Kirchberg an der Jagst in South Germany) to Le Puy-en-Velay in South of France, where I started the Camino de Santiago last year, so that in the end I'll have walked from Kirchberg to Santiago and Finisterra. Sounds finical. Is finical. I am finical, and I like to walk.
Before yesterday, August 22, I crossed the river Rhine and stepped on french ground after almost two weeks and 300 kilometers in Germany. I like the idea that I can walk to any place that is not an island. Might walk eastwards some day. Mongolia or Georgia.
Here are some pictures of the last two weeks (from Kirchberg to Colmar).
